MyFantasyFix - Weekly Fantasy Golf 2017

The growth of the Daily fantasy industry has been nothing short of historic. If you're not familiar with it, you will be in the coming months as investors such as Comcast are pouring in millions of dollars to make sure that you do. Yes it's essentially the same element as the wildly popular traditional league, but it resets weekly....and with big cash prizes.

Unlike a full fantasy season, daily fantasy provides instant gratification. It is also conducive to quants: The savviest daily-fantasy owners, like the whizzy general managers in sports today, use advanced statistics to help them draft players."

Glimpse of our 2017 Golf Season Lineup

Examples of MyFantasyFix DFS Weekly Analysis

9,500+ Tier

Rickie Fowler (10,000)

Fowler missed his only cut of 2017 at the Farmers (jet lag from Abu Dhabi may have played a role). Since then: A win, 4th, 12th, and 16th. He's in great form and at a nice discount to Spieth this week. He does have 2 Top 10s the past 3 years in Houston, though the other 2 recent performances were 63rd and 71st. He also fits a lot of stats: 5th in Total Strokes Gained, 11th in Approach, 12th in Tee-to-Green and Putting, and 25th in Driving Distance. I like his form, like his stats, and with some nice success here, he is playable everywhere in all formats. I especially like him for 9,500 on FanDuel. (Cash on all sites, GPP on all sites).

8,000-9,400 Tier

Phil Mickelson (8,900)

Lefty was quite impressive at the Match Play event last week, looking to be in great form before losing a close match to Bill Haas. Phil's tournament history here is great: A win in 2011, and his worst finish is 17th in the past 6 years. Outside of a bad Sunday at Pebble Beach, he also has been playing well in 2017 with a Top 10 and 3 other Top 25s. Not surprisingly, he's 8th in SG: Putting and 1st in SG: Around the Green. He's my one-and-done pick right now, and think he will be in contention come Sunday. I will be keeping an eye on his potential ownership, as I'm not sure where he will fall among the choices. I like his 8900 on DraftKings the best, and could be low owned on FanDuel with Fowler 200 more, and on FantasyDraft with Scott 100 more. (Cash Game Playable on DK, GPP play on all 3 sites)

7,000-7,900 Tier

Chris Wood (7,400)

Wood is not a familiar golfer here in the states, since he mainly plays in Europe. He's ranked 58th in the Official World Golf Rankings and has a strange recent form. Wood has only missed once cut since the PGA Championship last year, but has no Top 10s in that time. Yet, when making the cut, he has 9 straight Top 40 finishes. This may be a concern if he was 8,000, but at 7,400, he makes for a nice value play at this price. I really like his price on FantasyDraft, since he is only 15,300 there, a rare bargain on FantasyDraft. (Cash Game: All sites, especially DraftKings and FantasyDraft. GPP: not my favorite, since I don't know what his upside is due to recent form).

6,400-6,900 Tier

Bernd Wiesberger (6,700)

The 41st ranked golfer in the world hasn't missed a cut since the PGA Championship, has 8 Top 10s worldwide since then, and is 300 above minimum? He was 27th in Houston last year. He's in incredible form right now and is much more fairly priced on the other 2 sites. I'm going to have Bernd probably in 2 of my 3 lineups on DraftKings this week, and can be used in all formats. (Cash: All 3 sites, especially DraftKings GPP: All 3 sites, especially DraftKings)

Testimonials:
After I joined MyFantasyFix.com and built lineups from their recommendations, I went from breaking even to winning over 70% of the time over the course of a week on FanDuel in head to head and 50/50 matchups. I can't even begin to express my gratitude for the work they do and I'd honestly consider not playing as much as I do now if this service was gone tomorrow....This is a no brainer service. -@sports4steve
