Michael is a financial analyst for a Fortune 50
company by trade and a number cruncher at night. His love for fantasy baseball
started at the age of 12 when he broke his foot a couple months before summer.
Left without the ability to play the sports he loved for three months, he
discovered he could play baseball vicariously through a computer screen. Always
wanting to dig deeper for answers, Michael discovered sabermetrics in college
and instantly put them to use on his fantasy teams. Michael treats fantasy
sports like the stock market and is constantly searching for market
inefficiencies to capitalize on to win. Buying low, selling high and
researching the up-and-coming stocks (prospects) is an essential part to any
successful fantasy player’s game and his analysis will reflect these themes.
